WORX 2-in-1 Switch Drill & Driver | Electric Screwdriver

WORX 2-in-1 Switch Drill & Driver | Electric Screwdriver - The two basic functions of a cordless drill are drilling holes and driving screws. But what if a drill could perform either task at the push of a button? That's just what the engineers at WORX had in mind when they developed the new WORX 20V MaxLithium Switch driver.

This hybrid cordless drill features two 1/4 in. chucks that rotate 180 clockwise or counterclockwise with the push of a button. Drill a pilot hole to seat a screw and then rotate the second chuck with a driver bit to sink it. The bits stay loaded in their respective chucks, so it's easy to switch back and forth without fumbling for bits. The 1/4 in. chucks accept any 1/4 in. hex-shaped bits, which are widely available at tool retailers.

WORX Switch driver is powered by a 20V MaxLithium battery with a 5 hour recharge time. The drill features a two-speed gearbox with no-load speeds of 0-400 and 0-1500 rpm. It has an 11-position electronic clutch to adjust torque settings. Maximum torque is 310 in.-lbs. The driver's drilling capacity is 1 in. in wood and 3/8 in. in steel.
